Here are some of my favourite tips

You can prevent that annoying Error Reporting window from coming up by doing this:

1. Click the Start button, then Control Panel

2. Click System

3. Go to the Advanced tab and click Error Reporting

4. In the Error Reporting window, click Disable error reporting.

5. Then click OK a couple of times to close these windows.

If you want to do something to a thing on the screen, or find out about that thing, right click on that thing.

Doing that will bring up a menu of things you can do that item! Most likely, if you read through the menu, you will see a choice that is exactly what you wanted to do! Left click on that choice to make it happen. (The Properties choice will tell you about the item.)

Right clicking cannot hurt anything! It simply brings up a menu.

VISTA: If you are working on a home computer, and you want to skip the welcome/login screen (who wants to enter a password every time anyway?), you can try this:

Navigate to the Control Panel, User Accounts, Users and remove the tick in: Users must enter a user name and password.
